This one bedroom bungalow apartment is set in beautiful tropical gardens and walkways overhung with plants and flowers. the Costa del Silencio where the apartment is situated comes under urban planning controls there are no high rise blocks or hotels, most properties are no more than 3 storys.The whole area is ideal for holidays. Besides the shops, bars and local Restaurants there are nature trails and stunning cliff top walks. The fishing village of Las Galleatos is a 15 miniute stroll to the village shops,the promenade with its bars and restuarants, and the beautiful harbour.

The Apartment: The apartment has one bedroom with 2 single beds. The bedroom is fitted wall to wall with wardrobes dressing table and cupboards. From the bedroom large patio windows open onto the private patio which has table and chairs for dinning al fresco. The lounge area has two 2 seater settes a coffee table and a sideboard with a Hi Fi. A pleasant carpet adorns the floor, there is a digital TV with a video and a selection of films. The kitchen/dinning area has a table and four chairs cupboards and units. There is a fridge freezer, microwave and a cooker. The bathroom is fully tiled in a beautiful lime green and has a bath, shower, washbasin, wc and a washing machined plumbed in. from the lounge large patio windows again lead you onto the patio, from the patio stairs lead you up to your own private sun roof. On the sun roof there are two sun loungers and table and chairs for al fresco dinning. Outside there are walkways and gardens filled with beautiful tropical plants and flowers giving a constant display of colour all year round. All the walkways lead to the 3 swimming pools on the complex the main pool as shown has extensive sunbathing areas. There is a poolside bar for drinks and also the palour where you can have breakfasts, lunches, and afternoon teas. There is a very good minimarket on the complex selling british groceries and run by a Spanish lady prices are very reasonable.

The area: Just a few minutes walk from the apartment you will find an array of shops, bars, supermarkets, and resturants of all nationalities. The local bus service is excellant the bus stop is 3 minutes away from here you can get to most parts of the island the fares are very reasonable. The bus will take you to Playa Americas or los Christianos in about 30 minutes. if you are intending to do a lot of sightseeing purchase a travel card its much cheaper. Just 10 minutes walk takes you to the beautiful Atlantic costline of Amarila Bay with its rocky shoreline and nature trails and walks. Here the water is crystal clear and is used by scuba divers and snorkellers. Follow the wall from the foot of the hill and you have some wonderful trails to follow you can walk all the way to the golf courses if you like. Rember to give yourself plenty of time to get back as it is uphill on the way back or catch a taxi or bus from the golf. There are plenty of activities just a few minutes from the apartment such as tennis, mountain bike hire, you can book lots of trips from various agencies, car hire is available if you require it.

Las Galleatos: Las Galleatos is a lovely medium size village which is now more of a town than a village an easy 15 minute stroll takes you there. The photograph on the right shows the beach and the harbour area of Las Galletas.On the way to Las Galleatos you will come to Ten Bell Shopping Centre stop here for a drink or visit the many shops it is here where you can purchase a bargain. If you want a Camcorder, Camera, Hi Fi or a watch this is the place but do not pay the asking price to make a sale they will reduce anything. As you leave Ten Bell Shopping Centre turn left and you are on the main road and the village is just a couple of minutes walk. In the village: In the village you will find dozens of shops, bars,cafes and restuarants.This is where to buy your perfumes you will see the shop in the main square they will gift wrap for you free. The local butcher here sells fresh meat and comes highly recamended. Also there is an excellent frozen food shop that sells just about everything it is self service and you can buy any ammount that you like all loose. Ladies for the hairdresser visit Mr Harry he is excellent you will find Mr Harry and his wife in their salon on one of the side streets leading from the main square.

As you walk through the village towards the sea you will come to the long promenade that leads down to the beautiful harbour shown on the photograph on the left. The beach is shingly and stoney with patches of sand brilliant when the tide is out but is fantastic for surfing and the snorkelling here is brilliant. All the way down the promenade are delightful bars for snacks, and speciality restaurants English, German, Dutch, Spanish and Italian. If you like fish try one of the fish restaurants the best one is at the end of the promenade by the harbour sit outside with wonderful views. Secluded Beach: There is a secluded beach If you would like some real privacy only the locals or people who have been coming here a long time now of it.To get to it if you stand at the end of the promenade (see picture below) you will see the harbour beach and the road that runs along side it. Walk up that road until you come to the Medical Centre behind the Medical Centre you will see an area desert like. Walk across the desert area and you will come to a secluded cove avoid the weekends as all the locals meet up here for BBQs on the beach.

The village at night is nice and lively the promenade shown on the right is lit up its quite romantic and the sunset across the harbour is worth waiting for. Do all your shopping in the village all the locals shop here it is cheaper than going to the supermarkets close by the apartment. If you want a change from the restaurants near your apartment dine in the village there is an excellent choice and also down on the promenade.If after your day on the beach or your shopping trip or after dinning out you do not fancy the walk back to your apartment the bus stop is at hand or indeed a taxi.
