Guardamar is a beautiful town that is not commercialised and still retains its origanal charm beauty and culture. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday then you have chosen the right place. Alicante and Torrevieja are only a short distance away if you want the hustle and bustle.
This two bedroomed apartment is front line to the Segura river with beautiful views down the river and out over open countryside.Situated just 5 minutes walk into the splendid town of Guardamar and 15 minutes walk to the wonderful country park sand dunes and Blue Flag beaches.The whole area is a protected conservation area and has an aboundance of wildlife. The marina is just a 15 minute stroll down the road alongside the river which also takes you to the country park.
The Apartment: The apartment has two bedrooms one with a double bed and bedside cabinets with lamps and a built in wardrobe. The other has 2 single beds a bedside cabinet with lamp and a double wardrobe.
The lounge is tastefully furnished and is very comfortable.In the lounge there is a dinning area with table and four chairs, a sideboard with a large selection of books also a Hi Fi unit with a good selection of CDs , a comfortable 3 seater and 2 settee, coffee table and satellite TV giving you 30 channels with all your home stations and SKY Sports etc.There is a DVD player and a good selection of films.
Balcony/Conservatory From the lounge sliding patio windows open up onto what used to be an open balcony.This has been double glazed and made into a conservatory with comfortable table and chairs.Two large opening windows have also been fitted making it ideal for relaxing and for al fresco dinning.
The kitchen is beautifully fitted with wall cupboards and marble work top.Included are fridge/freezer, cooker with hobb and built in oven,washing machine and a microwave oven, kettle and toaster, deep fat fryer, also an electric coffee maker.All cooking pots and pans and steamers are in the cupboards as are all plates and glassware.There is a complete cutelry set and carving knives.Everything you require for sel catering is at hand.
Outside: The area outside the apartment is nice and private you have your own private parking space within the walled complex no one can get in as you need a key for the barrier gate. The whole of the complex consists of just over 50 private apartments. Entry to the complex is through the main gates to which you will have a key there is a telephone intercom system at the gate to your apartment for visitors to contact you.There are two lifts which will take you to the 2nd floor apartment.There is a nice medium sized swimming pool for your use with extensive sunbathing areas. If you go up to the large solarium on the roof you will find two sunbeds for your use it is a suntrap and ideal for sunbathing all day long. The views across the open countryside and down the river are stunning.
The Area: Facing the apartment is the Segura river and open countryside. There is a road alongside the river which will take you to the marina, country park, sand dunes and beaches. This walk alongside the river takes about 15 minutes (2 to 3 minutes by car) and is really pretty. If you like to fish there are plenty of spaces to drop in a line some good fish to.If you take your car you can drive into the country park and picnic in the pine forest and sand dunes there are lots of parking spaces.
The walk into the town of Guardamar behind the complex takes just 5 minutes. Here you will find plenty of shops bars and restaurants for all your requirements.If you walk down the main street you will come to the church and the town hall in the square. Behind the town hall is the lovely walk down to the country park, Renio Sophie park,the sand dune and beaches.
More Information: Guardamar is situated between the towns of Alicante and Torrevija from the airport by taxi it will take you no more than 25 minutes. If you wish transfer from the airport to the apartment this can be arranged for 30 Euros each way by our English company that look after the apartment.

The town at night on the right is very pretty and is well lit.There is something here for everyone. For a romantic meal try one of the many first class restaurants that are scattered around the town. There are restaurants of all nationalities to suit all tastes.
During the main season there is a huge night market held every evening behind the town hall and stretches right down to the beach.At the same time there is a large fair behind Reno Sophie park.Also there are Disco's held on the indistrial estate behind China Wok.
Beautiful Guardamar Beaches Stretching For 14km Of The Southern Costa Blanca Guardamar Beaches The beaches at Guardamar del Segura are some of the best on the Costa Blanca and some of the best Spanish beaches that you will find anywhere. There are eight beaches in total which extend to almost 14 kilometres. From north to south, the beaches of Guardamar are Los Tusales (the naturist beach), Los Viveros, De la Babilònia, Playa Centro, La Roqueta, El Moncayo, Playa del Campo and Les Ortigues. One thing they all have in common though is their high quality sand, their length and the background of dunes planted with pines, eucalyptus and palm trees. Although the beaches at Guardamar are popular, compared to other parts of the coast overcrowding is not really an issue here. The beaches are all fairly deep, leaving space for everyone to enjoy the warmth of the Costa Blanca sunshine on some of the finest beaches in Spain whatever the time of year. Sun beds are available in most places and the Guardamar beaches are cleaned on a daily basis so you should find them in pristine condition throughout the year. Lifeguards are also present throughout the summer months. On the central beaches such as Playa Centro and La Roqueta you will find extra facilities such as water sports. There are also some small beach bars present, making the beach a nice place to go for a quiet drink on the warm evenings |
